Religions of the World – 3 units

Instructor: Dr. Barbara Williams
In a world where multiple "truths" abound, Christians need to be on their guard to avoid being deceived by other ways of looking at the world that directly oppose Christ and His Word. To be prepared, they must be well informed of these other worldviews and how they differ from Christianity. This study will analyze the main worldreligions, cults, and philosophical systems as worldviews.

Church leaders today increasingly base their ministries on secular principles rather than the timeless principles of God's Word. This study will grasp a New Testament picture of leadership that is person-centered and team-centered. The strength of the New Testament church came not from a few professionally trained leaders at the top, but from willing church volunteers who were each strategically placed to use their gifts in service the of their Lord.

This study focuses on the philosophical basis of methodology, insights from current research, an overview of classroom usage and principles of selection for specific purposes and audience. In a fast-paced and quickly changing culture, mster teachers must understand the why of methodology in order to maximize its how.

Mastering he mysteries of love - this study gives you tools to olve the mystery. There are ten skills which enable you to talk with each other in ways that turn mystery back into wonder. The skills will help you talk and listen to each other in ways that deepens love even when you disagree. They will teach you a method to get beyond surface problems to the important depts of your heart where love lives and grows.
